Step into a rewarding role supporting middle school students as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist. Based on-site, you’ll make a direct impact, providing essential services to grades 6 through 8 for the duration of the academic year, with a single-campus assignment and a manageable, focused caseload of 60-65 students. Your expertise will play a pivotal part in helping students communicate effectively and achieve academic success.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a closely related field
• Current Florida State License
• SLP-CCC credential through ASHA
• School-based experience working with middle school populations
• Ability to obtain and complete district-mandated background check, fingerprinting, and credentialing paperwork
• Commitment to working full-time (35 hours per week), fully onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess student speech and language needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student communication outcomes
• Track and maintain detailed progress reports and documentation per district standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student programming
• Provide consultative support and resources to campus partners

This is a contract position starting as soon as possible through late May.
