Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist interested in working with middle school students on a contract basis. This position is based at a single campus serving grades 6 through 8, where you'll provide comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse caseload of 60–65 students. The assignment runs through the end of the academic year, offering a rewarding chance to make a significant impact in students’ communication growth.

This role requires an immediate start and will be full-time, with 35 hours scheduled weekly. On-site presence is essential, and you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to develop individualized plans, support students’ progress, and contribute to the school’s dynamic support team.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related area
• Active SLP-CCC credential through ASHA
• Current FL State License
• Previous experience in a school setting and working with middle school-aged students preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 65 students
• Completion of district background check, fingerprinting, and timely credentialing forms
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
• Design and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Deliver direct therapy services and collaborate with school staff and parents
• Maintain detailed records and document student progress
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as required
