Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking stress reduction and emotional well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, allowing for tailored mindfulness practices.

• Lead clients in mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques aimed at fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building strategies.

• Incorporate mindfulness practices into individualized therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns and promoting personal growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to weave mindfulness interventions into a holistic treatment framework.

• Maintain accurate records of client progress, mindfulness strategies utilized, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.

• Commit to continued professional development by engaging in personal mindfulness practices and attending relevant training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and emotional difficulties. Our approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, allowing for a personalized and effective therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic practices.

• Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on creating a nurturing and encouraging therapeutic atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

• Advanced training or certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications.
