Special Education Teacher – Providence, Rhode Island
In‑Person • 35 hrs/week • ASAP – June 18, 2027
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Intervention — Deliver targeted academic and behavioral support aligned with student IEPs.
- IEP Development — Write goals, track progress, and participate in meetings.
- Behavior Support — Implement plans and maintain structured, supportive learning environments.
- Collaboration — Partner with general educators, specialists, and families.
- Documentation — Maintain compliance through timely reporting and communication.
Schedule & Assignment Details
- Start: ASAP
- End: June 18, 2027
- Hours: 35 hours/week, onsite
- Caseload: Elementary
- Setting: Resource/Inclusion or Self‑Contained classrooms
Qualifications
- Active Rhode Island SPED certification
- Experience in elementary settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Must be able to work in person
Contract Details
- Full‑time W2
- Competitive hourly rate - based on experience and certifications
- Weekly pay with benefits if needed
