Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple properties and priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role works closely with property managers and supports key property accounting functions including financial reporting, lease administration, property tax tracking, CAM reconciliations, mortgage monitoring, and tenant account analysis. Responsibilities Perform daily bank and trust account reconciliations Process accounts payable and recurring expenses Prepare monthly owner distributions Monitor AR delinquencies and recurring billbacks Prepare monthly financial statements for PM and Asset Management review Maintain mortgage schedules, escrow analyses, and tax payment schedules Assist with budget preparation and annual CAM reconciliations Qualifications Minimum 5 years property or general accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and property accounting concepts Proficiency with accounting and property management software Advanced Excel skills preferred High level of accuracy, organization, and deadline management #J-18808-Ljbffr
