Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to identify client needs accurately.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that respect their unique backgrounds, goals, and cultural considerations.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in various formats: individual, couples, family, and group sessions.

• Lead crisis intervention efforts effectively, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to deliver immediate support to clients in acute distress.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation, ensuring all progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries comply with clinic policies and regulatory standards.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with tools and knowledge to manage their mental health proactively.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure holistic care for all clients.

• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness through outcome assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
