Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their complete history from the initial consultation through to treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health using standardized assessment tools and clinical insights.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring alignment with their specific needs and goals.

• Lead individual therapy sessions and facilitate engaging group therapy discussions, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as needed based on real-time feedback and evolving circumstances.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including mental health specialists and medical professionals, to create cohesive and effective intervention strategies.

• Coordinate follow-up care with outside psychiatrists and physicians for clients requiring hospitalization or additional support.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively address behaviors that may hinder progress, offering guidance and support to clients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our target population includes individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and addiction. As a mental health counselor at Elite Coast Psychotherapy Services, you will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique narratives and treatment needs. Your role will be pivotal in providing empathetic, personalized care that encourages resilience and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a strong foundation in clinical practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.

• Experience in addressing various physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction and co-occurring disorders.

• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Proficient understanding of psychopharmacology and the effects of medications prescribed by healthcare providers.
\n
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal abilities and empathetic interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
