Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to deliver high-quality counseling services from the comfort of your home while maintaining a work schedule that prioritizes your well-being. The work hours are established as Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced approach to both professional responsibilities and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at New Rediscovered, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate client mental health needs, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Providing individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
\n
• Regularly monitoring and documenting clients’ progress toward their treatment goals, making necessary modifications to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Offering immediate support and crisis intervention to clients in distress, developing safety plans and coordinating emergency care when required.
\n
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals and community resources to enhance the comprehensive care provided to clients, ensuring integration of services that meet holistic wellness needs.

• Maintaining meticulous records of client sessions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent protocols are rigorously followed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, each presenting distinct mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Familiarity with various mental health assessment tools, treatment planning methodologies, and psychotherapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

While the following are not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have experience working with specific populations, including those with chronic mental illness or substance abuse challenges. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be advantageous.
