Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather a detailed understanding of each patient’s trauma history, strengths, and treatment needs.

• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans that promote resilience and facilitate recovery from trauma.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective counseling.

• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions that help clients to process traumatic experiences, develop coping strategies, and steer their recovery journeys.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support, especially during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate assistance.

• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding of available resources.

• Maintaining accurate patient documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards in record keeping.

• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development sessions focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC with Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center, you will serve a varied patient population, including adults, couples, and adolescents, many of whom have complex trauma histories. We aim to meet each individual’s distinct needs through personalized care and resilience-building strategies. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and active LPC license in the state of Texas.
\n

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 110,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
