Steadfast Support Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic Behavioral Health Team. This full-time role is uniquely designed to provide mental health services primarily through a remote telehealth setting, allowing you the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and community clients from the comfort of your home. The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients, adapting approaches and techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Engage in child and family counseling, utilizing established medical necessity and DSM V diagnostic criteria to inform treatment plans.

• Develop and facilitate psycho-educational groups, parenting workshops, and other therapeutic classes, ensuring that material is relevant and beneficial to participants.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, including treatment notes, progress reports, and necessary statistical data for each assigned client.

• Ensure all billing requirements are met by tracking and submitting the appropriate number of reimbursable hours.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with children and families, providing targeted support for a variety of mental health challenges. This may include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders, among others. You will be instrumental in creating personalized treatment plans that honor the individual experiences of each client, positively impacting their overall wellbeing and functioning within their community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A valid license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong organizational skills are essential, with the ability to manage a caseload effectively and keep detailed records.

• Self-motivated individuals who can independently initiate actions related to client care, documentation, and billing will thrive in our team.

Preferred Experience\n

At least two years of relevant clinical practice experience is required to ensure comfort and proficiency with the diverse challenges encountered in mental health counseling. Familiarity with telehealth tools and techniques is beneficial as we transition into continued remote service delivery.
