Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations and ongoing assessments to inform treatment plans.

• Document case histories thoroughly, tracking each client's progress from evaluation to discharge using electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR.
\n
• Design and implement individualized and evidence-based intervention plans for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy settings.
\n
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that promote openness and healing.
\n
• Monitor client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed based on feedback and outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop comprehensive care strategies.

• Follow up on clients admitted to in-patient facilities to ensure continuity of care and recovery support.
\n
• Provide education and support to family members and primary caregivers navigating mental health challenges.

• Stay updated on best practices, new methodologies, and current research in mental health to enhance the quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record systems for client management.

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical or telehealth environment.

• Knowledge of addiction disorders, emotional health challenges, and related physical health conditions.

• Familiarity with best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for successful candidates.
