Administrative Assistant

We are hiring an Administrative Assistant II in our Marshall, MN Ice Cream Plant location. In this role, you will provide administrative support to company director level position. Responsibilities: Performs clerical duties in support of a director level employee and staff including the handling of sensitive details and assignments Coordinates the director's schedule, expenses, meetings, travel, etc. Schedules appointments, monitors all incoming calls, messages and mail, handling as many responses as possible independently with a prescribed degree of discretion Organizes, prioritizes and summarizes data, materials and information. Prepares reports and summaries and organizes data for the director's review Anticipates, prepares/revises and sends correspondence on behalf of the director Creates, maintains, updates and reconciles spreadsheets and various reports to support the director's decision-making process Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, associate's degree or two-year certificate in an administrative related field preferred Typically has 3 - 5 years of related experience PC skills including expertise with MS Office and Outlook Basic understanding and knowledge of business unit structure, policies, products, etc. Good interpersonal and communication skills with a moderate degree of sensitivity for confidentiality Ability to gather, organize and analyze data with a solid sense of prioritizing, logic and objectivity Compensation and Benefits: The base pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 per hour. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
