This role allows for a remote working setup within the outpatient office framework, promoting both flexibility and convenience. Our standard work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some degree of flexibility required to accommodate the unique needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to better understand patients' trauma histories and tailor individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Implement and monitor personalized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-strengthening.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate significant healing progress in clients.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions that focus on processing trauma experiences, developing effective coping strategies, and nurturing emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, care coordinators, and additional mental health professionals to guarantee a cohesive and integrated care approach for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to remain calm while managing high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and equip them with valuable resources and coping mechanisms.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient records are thorough and accurate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have faced trauma, including but not limited to those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by trauma survivors, allowing you to develop empathetic, patient-centered strategies that promote healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and relevant treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication and connection with clients.

• A compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful scenarios.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
