Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ social, emotional, and psychological well-being to identify their needs and formulate effective intervention strategies.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique challenges faced by students and their families.

• Develop and implement comprehensive service plans that align with the clients' goals, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and support systems.

• Advocate passionately for clients' rights and access to educational and community resources that promote their mental health and overall well-being.

• Participate actively in program development, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions, and contributing to grant proposals aimed at securing resources for our initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to create a cohesive network of support for students and their families.

• Engage in ongoing training and participate in team meetings to share insights, strategies, and updates on client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to provide mental health services to students within the school setting. This population includes diverse children and adolescents facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma exposure, and family dynamics. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work to create a safe and supportive environment where students can express their feelings and work towards their personal growth and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
