Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client concerns and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.

• Lead one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness techniques.

• Provide compassionate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and facilitating timely access to necessary resources.

• Engage in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate holistic client care, exchanging valuable insights to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Document and maintain precise client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic medical records to ensure seamless information sharing.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs to stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. Some prevalent issues include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma history, relationship dynamics, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $52,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
