Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that are aligned with their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and strategies for self-care to foster recovery and resilience.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress during therapy, adjusting treatment goals and strategies as deemed necessary to ensure positive outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.

• Stay updated on current research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic practices and client outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, consistent with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including team meetings and case consultations, to refine clinical skills and knowledge.

• Act as an advocate for clients, contributing to efforts to de-stigmatize mental health and promote awareness of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will predominantly work with individuals affected by mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clients come from various backgrounds, each bringing their unique experiences and challenges. Your role is crucial in providing them tailored support that fosters healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, focused on resolving mood disorders.

• A strong foundational understanding of psychopharmacology, enhancing collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical staff.

• A proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders.

• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with a minimum of two years of clinical experience directly addressing mood disorders or related mental health issues. Experience in a collaborative team setting and familiarity with integrated treatment approaches will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n
