Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine the severity and scope of mood disorder symptoms, employing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, outlining specific therapeutic goals based on their unique experiences and aspirations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate behavioral change and emotional regulation.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, emphasizing the importance of understanding symptoms and available treatment options.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, tracking changes and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals, ensuring integrated care that encompasses comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Stay updated on the latest research in the field of mental health, integrating new findings into ongoing treatment methodologies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client sessions, adhering to legal and ethical standards to ensure patient privacy.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster a culture of learning and improvement within the practice.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and mental health needs, actively working to raise awareness and reduce stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing a variety of mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with individuals from different backgrounds, each with unique stories and challenges. This role requires not only clinical expertise but also empathy and sensitivity to the diverse cultural and personal experiences of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Strong knowledge of and experience in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals on psychopharmacology and overall patient care.
\n
• Demonstrated success in developing effective treatment plans and achieving favorable client outcomes.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills capable of building strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience working with mood disorder clients preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and compliance.

• Experience conducting teletherapy and facilitating remote sessions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
