Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to identify and analyze clients' mental health needs, incorporating information from parents, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care tailored to the school environment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that establish clear goals and actionable steps while collaborating with a network of educational professionals for a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and risk assessments when necessary, ensuring the immediate and ongoing safety and well-being of clients.

• Facilitate psychoeducation classes and support groups, equipping students, parents, and educators with coping strategies and resources.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and continuity of care.

This role will focus on a diverse client population within educational settings, primarily involving students who may be navigating mental health issues that impact their academic performance and social connections. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits\n
