Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Immediate need | Senior AP /Staff | Seattle | Hybrid | 6-Month Contract

We are seeking a Senior AP /Staff to provide temporary support to a Family Office Services team. This role is primarily focused on Accounts Payable, bill payment, invoice processing, approvals, disbursements, and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate is an experienced AP professional who can independently manage the full AP process, work with internal teams and clients, and handle sensitive financial information with a high level of accuracy and discretion.

Responsibilities

Day to day:

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) , including invoice processing, approvals, bill payments, checks, and electronic disbursements
• Review invoices for accuracy, coordinate approvals, and monitor payment schedules
• Maintain accurate AP records, supporting documentation, and financial records
• Perform bank, credit card, investment, and account reconciliations
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, and reconciliation discrepancies
• Assist with transaction posting, General Ledger (GL) support, and month-end/year-end close
• Prepare basic AP reports and supporting schedules
• Monitor cash requirements and coordinate payment requests
• Provide responsive support to clients, internal teams, and wealth management partners
• Handle confidential financial information and other accounting tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience that includes...

• Full-cycle AP, invoice processing, approvals, bill pay, and disbursements
• Ability to independently manage AP processes and multiple priorities
• Reconciliation skills and basic General Ledger (GL) knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through
• Nice to have: experience supporting Family Office, Family Office Services, Wealth Management, High-Net-Worth, Trust, Foundation, or Nonprofit environments is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, but not required
