Litigation ParalegalOur client is a mid-sized, full-service law firm with a long-standing history of serving businesses and individuals across multiple markets. With offices across several regions, we provide comprehensive legal services and thoughtful, strategic counsel to our clients. Our team serves as advocates, advisors, and partners — helping clients navigate complex legal matters with confidence.We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to work closely with attorneys across a broad range of matters, including general litigation and ERISA-related work. You'll play a key role in case strategy, document management, and trial preparation, helping ensure efficient, effective case execution from start to finish.Responsibilities:Communicate with clients and third parties to gather information and documentationConduct legal research using tools such as Lexis and PACERAssist attorneys with case strategy by applying relevant legal conceptsPerform cite-checking and ShepardizingOrganize case files and manage timelines for key litigation eventsPrepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondenceAssist with federal and state court filings and administrative mattersManage and review documents produced during discoveryCoordinate document production and responses to discovery requestsSupport trial, arbitration, and deposition preparation, including exhibitsLiaise with courts, opposing counsel, and vendors (e.g., process servers)Maintain calendars and track deadlinesUtilize litigation support and document management softwareRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent3+ years of paralegal experience in a related practice areaStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with document execution and PDF editing toolsNice to Have:Notary certificationExperience with document management systems (e.g., iManage)Familiarity with billing/timekeeping softwareExperience with litigation support tools (e.g., CaseMap, TrialDirector)Federal court experienceExperience with billable hour requirementsExposure to ERISA, employment law, or complex commercial litigationSkills That Will Help You Succeed:Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsHigh attention to detail and organizationAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaborativelySchedule & Environment: Full-time, onsite position, Monday–Friday, in a professional office environment with standard technology and equipment.
