This assignment offers a steady schedule with 35 hours per week, partnering with dedicated teams at two vibrant schools. Start as soon as possible and provide continuity through the end of the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Special Education (SPED) teaching certification for Michigan
• Strong background supporting elementary and/or middle school learners
• Prior experience in a resource room environment preferred
• Ability to manage caseloads (10 elementary or 11 middle school students)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ IEPs within a resource room setting
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning
• Maintain organized records and track student progress
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet a variety of learning needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth
