Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, offering you the flexibility to manage your schedule while working from the comfort of your own home. However, our outreach efforts involve interaction with clients in an outpatient office setting. You will have access to collaborative tools and platforms that facilitate seamless communication with other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify clients’ mental health needs, crafting Personalized Treatment Plans (PTPs) based on individual experiences and goals.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, targeting issues such as mood disorders including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients' families, helping them understand their loved ones’ treatment processes and how they can contribute to recovery.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also work with vulnerable populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, empowering them to navigate their challenges and supporting their journeys toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to client experiences, fostering an open environment for healing.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities to effectively handle caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings with a focus on mood disorders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• Prior engagement with diverse populations, which provides insight into the unique challenges faced by these groups.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
