Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety, using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, leveraging evidence-based approaches to address specific needs and treatment goals.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring each session to meet clients’ evolving requirements.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, potential treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and management of their conditions.

• Monitor client progress consistently, documenting treatment efficacy and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care, ensuring clients receive comprehensive treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work (LCSW), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on the treatment of mood disorders is preferable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
