• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, as well as group and family therapy, with clients experiencing diverse mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship conflicts.

• Complete thorough diagnostic assessments to accurately develop treatment plans that are specifically tailored to the unique goals and needs of each client.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and education professionals to promote holistic care and ensure that clients receive comprehensive support.

• Utilize advanced telehealth platforms to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential electronic health records for all clients.

• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and pursue continuing education opportunities to remain informed on best practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

• Perform crisis intervention and risk assessments as necessary, employing evidence-based techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

Your client base will encompass a wide range of individuals, including adults, families, and adolescents facing various emotional and psychological challenges. The diversity of our patient population ensures that you will have the opportunity to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches, contributing to their healing journey and overall mental health improvement.

• Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience providing counseling services, with a proven track record in individual, group, and family therapy.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote work environment.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems and telehealth technology for documentation and client engagement.

• Experience with specific populations such as children, veterans, or individuals experiencing substance abuse issues is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Participation in professional organizations relating to mental health counseling is a plus.

The role offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
