Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to create individualized therapy strategies tailored to their unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records while adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care and facilitate referrals as necessary.

• Stay engaged in professional development opportunities, attending workshops and training to keep abreast of advancements in mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves individuals and families facing barriers to mental health care, including underserved populations. You will work with clients experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship challenges. A key focus will be on providing culturally competent care, ensuring that all clients feel understood, respected, and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is essential.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting, is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
