This remote position allows you to provide vital mental health services to clients experiencing mood disorders from the comfort of your own home. Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions in a setting that suits you. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which supports a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, understanding their severity and impact on daily functioning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting realistic and achievable goals tailored to their unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques that can enhance recovery.

• Monitor client progress closely, evaluating treatment effectiveness and making necessary adjustments to therapy approaches as needed.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and medication management.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment, applying this knowledge to enhance clinical effectiveness.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development activities to foster continuous learning and improvement in therapeutic techniques.

• Advocate for clients' needs, promoting understanding and reducing the stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our diverse clientele varies in age, background, and severity of symptoms, providing a rich tapestry of experiences that can enhance your professional skills and therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist.

• Proven proficiency in evidence-based modalities specifically related to mood disorders, with a focus on CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with prescribing physicians.

• Demonstrated evidence of positive outcomes in therapeutic work with clients suffering from mood disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to create rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have a background in outpatient settings, with at least 2-3 years of clinical experience specifically related to mood disorder treatments. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is highly desirable to facilitate effective treatment management and documentation.
