Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address complex emotional and behavioral issues.

• Educate and empower clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress systematically, adjusting treatment plans based on outcomes and emerging needs.

• Work cohesively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Therapist will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our patients range from various backgrounds, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients on a deep level, providing support and guidance as they navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
