Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., which allows for a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, enabling personalized treatment planning.

  Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

  Utilize proven therapeutic methodologies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mental health concerns.

  Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote ongoing wellness.

  Regularly monitor client progress, updating treatment plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs and circumstances.

  Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure an integrated treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with individuals and families who are navigating challenges related to relationships, particularly those undergoing divorce or significant life changes. Qualifications\n

  Current and active California state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have experience or certification in various therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to, structural family therapy, strategic therapy, systems therapy, narrative therapy, trans-generational approaches, or communication therapy. Familiarity with addiction counseling will also be beneficial.
