Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is located in Sacramento, a vibrant city known for its diverse communities and strong commitment to wellness. The work environment is fast-paced, yet nurturing, encouraging continuous learning and teamwork. The chosen candidate will work onsite, engaging closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our clients. Work hours are scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to inform treatment planning and develop tailored therapy programs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education techniques, activities of daily living training, and gait retraining.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans, therapeutic goals, and home exercise regimens to ensure continued progress outside the clinic.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare providers to maintain a high standard of interdisciplinary care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. A strong emphasis is placed on evidence-based practices, ensuring that each therapy session aligns with the latest research and rehabilitation methodologies. The Physical Therapist will be instrumental in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, from acute rehabilitation through to functional independence.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and proven ability to develop and implement individualized exercise regimens.
• Experience in treating diverse patient populations with varying levels of rehabilitation needs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and rehabilitation documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits
