Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and developmental needs of students, utilizing various evaluation tools and methodologies.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, focusing on issues such as adjustment disorders, anxiety, grief, and coping strategies.

• Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop and implement interventions tailored to the individual needs of students, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Coordinate with community organizations and resources to facilitate post-discharge services, supporting seamless transitions for students in need.

• Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support and stabilization to students in distress.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and staff training initiatives to stay current with best practices in school-based mental health strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in a school setting, you will primarily serve children and adolescents, addressing a range of mental health issues that arise within the school environment. Your role will involve working closely with students facing various challenges, including those related to trauma, family dynamics, academic stress, and social relationships. Additionally, your support will extend to families, empowering them with resources and coping strategies to better assist their children.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
