Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at The Forge Recovery Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients to understand their mental health history, strengths, and needs, leading to the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients navigate their recovery from substance use and mental health disorders, promoting resilience and behavioral change.

• Collaborating closely with the clinical team to ensure that treatment goals are measurable, achievable, and compliant with ethical and legal standards.

• Maintaining meticulous records, including detailed progress notes and treatment plans, to support ongoing care and facilitate chart audits in partnership with the clinical director.

• Engaging in regular team meetings, providing input, and sharing insights that contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing client care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who require intensive support and intervention for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Social Work or a related field.

• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification, with a strong preference for candidates who meet this criterion.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in social work settings, particularly in substance use treatment or mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

A history of working in hospice care or with terminal illness clients is highly desirable. Familiarity with community resources and a network of mental health professionals in Erie, Pennsylvania, will also be advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
