Position Overview

Fine Spine Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Fairfax, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Fine Spine Physical Therapy & Wellness, you will undertake a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:

• Designing and directing physical therapy treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain, enhancing movement, and restoring functionality in accordance with established care guidelines.
• Evaluating patient cases through diagnostic assessments to determine precise intervention strategies and measurable goals.
• Supervising physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective implementation of care plans and appropriate delivery of services.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities, while instructing and motivating patients in their home exercise regimens.
• Continuously monitoring patient progress and reactions to therapy, making adjustments to the treatment plans as necessary.
• Engaging with patients and their families regarding the rehabilitation process, treatment goals, and their integral role in achieving successful outcomes.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Participating actively as a member of the interdisciplinary team, attending case conferences to strategize comprehensive treatment paths for patients.
• Providing recommendations for home modifications or assistive devices to enhance rehabilitation efforts.
• Contributing to the overall growth initiatives of the company through collaboration with colleagues to refine service delivery methods and patient engagement practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapist will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological impairments, and chronic pain conditions. You will be pivotal in guiding patients of all ages toward improved mobility and independence, tailoring interventions to meet each individual's unique needs and treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with current PT licensure in the state of Virginia, and eligibility to practice.
• A commitment to high standards of clinical excellence and superior patient care delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on communication, empathy, and collaboration with patients and their families.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating effective decision-making skills.
• Outstanding analytical skills for assessment and evaluation with a focus on outcome measurement.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist is required, experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, assessment tools, and patient care protocols is highly advantageous. Current CPR certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Fine Spine Physical Therapy & Wellness offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
