Applicant pools are used to fill short‑term temporary lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Apointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as‑needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool are good for the current academic year only. This pool will be closed effective May 31, 2027. If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you must apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15, 2026. A bachelor's degree or equivalent Professional experience related to the position California State University’s Out‑of‑State Employment Policy applies; working in California is required Preferred qualifications: Master of Fine Arts, doctorate degree, or equivalent Experience teaching cultural/social somatics in higher education Preference given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community Salary: commensurate with degree level and experience Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507 – $8,000 per full‑time month. CSU Classification Salary Range – Lecturer A: $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month CSU Classification Salary Range – Lecturer B: $6,221 – $13,224 per full‑time month The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
