Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy tailored to the needs of students facing various emotional and social hurdles.

• Conduct thorough client assessments—including structured interviews and questionnaires—to gather relevant social, personal, and health-related information.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans addressing behavioral issues and mental health challenges within the school setting.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to facilitate crisis resolution, emotional regulation, and behavioral strategy development.

• Maintain collaborative and trustworthy relationships with clients, fostering a safe environment for open communication about their feelings and experiences.

• Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage with parents, teachers, and staff to coordinate support systems and provide resources for clients while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Consistently update client records in line with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring accurate documentation of sessions and progress.

• Manage a relevant caseload while adhering to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the state and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a spectrum of issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and familial challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in New Jersey.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in therapeutic settings, including direct interaction with mental health concerns.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
