Escrow Assistant As an Escrow Assistant at Old Republic Title, you will play a vital role in the seamless execution of real estate transactions, ensuring that every step is meticulously managed with precision and care. This office‑based position is scheduled from 8a.m. to 5p.m. daily and is available only for on‑site candidates. You will be entrusted with the following responsibilities: Opening, processing, and closing refinance and sale transactions under the guidance of experienced professionals. Communicating effectively with lenders, principals, realtors, co‑workers, and other department personnel to keep all parties informed and aligned. Reviewing and verifying information in preliminary reports and title commitments. Clearing title requirements by researching discrepancies and securing lien releases. Pulling tax rolls, assembling signing documents, and scheduling appointments both inside and outside the office. Uploading documents into the electronic filing system, documenting all conversations related to each file. Preparing funding packages with accuracy and efficiency. Expected qualifications: One year of escrow experience (preferred but not required). Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Professionalism, courtesy, and flexibility when interacting with clients and colleagues.
