Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and individualized evaluations for clients to develop tailored therapy strategies that address unique mental health needs.

• Implement various evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy with clients, families, and groups.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, ensuring treatment plans are cohesive and effective.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, using electronic medical record (EMR) software to streamline documentation and billing processes.

• Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health research by actively participating in professional development workshops and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing mental health services to individuals and families facing barriers to access care, including those with a history of trauma, substance use issues, and various mental health disorders. You will engage with a diverse client base, addressing their specific needs and supporting their journey towards recovery and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical context, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards relevant to counseling practice, ensuring compliance in all aspects of service provision.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing to the holistic care of clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software and related technologies for effective record-keeping and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, and/or substance use counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, vision, and health insurance, with the provision for malpractice insurance.
