Executive Assistant to CTO - AI Startup

THE GIST:

Our client, a rapidly growing & founder-led fintech startup, is looking for a stellar Executive Assistant to support their CTO, Head of Product, & Head of Engineering. The ideal candidate is someone who can operate as a genuine right hand, bring structure to a fast-moving and often unstructured environment, and will build a true partnership with their executives. They are looking for someone with a track record of success supporting founders within startup and/or high-growth tech space.

This role offers significant ownership and is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys being close to the action and wants a big, meaty role!

THE NITTY GRITTY:

• Own highly dynamic calendars, travel schedule, and day-to-day logistics, ensuring the executives are prepared and positioned for what’s ahead
• Operate several steps ahead, anticipating needs, identifying potential issues, and proactively solving problems before they arise
• Support the Employee Experience Manager with office events, team offsites, and employee onboarding
• Build and implement systems, processes, and efficiencies that improve the CTO’s workflow and overall effectiveness
• Prepare executives for meetings, leadership discussions, presentations, and high-priority conversations by ensuring they have the right information, materials, and context
• Help coordinate priorities across the leadership team and ensure important follow-ups, commitments, and details never fall through the cracks
• Manage communication and logistics with investors, shareholders, political contacts, and other high-profile stakeholders with professionalism and discretion
• Partner closely with the broader leadership team on projects, priorities, and special initiatives
• Take ownership of high-priority projects and jump in wherever needed in a fast-moving, constantly evolving environment
• Leverage technology, AI, and automation tools to streamline workflows, improve organization, and make the team more effective

THE ESSENTIALS:

• 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
• Experience supporting founders/c-level executives within startups and/or the high-growth tech space highly preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills and obsessive attention to detail
• Highly intelligent, quick-thinking, and able to process information rapidly
• Naturally proactive and intuitive
• Comfortable operating with significant ambiguity and minimal structure
• Strong business judgment and an ability to understand the "why" behind the work
• Technologically sophisticated and excited to use tools and automation to create efficiencies
• Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with senior executives, investors, shareholders, and other influential stakeholders

LOCATION: New York City (Onsite)

COMPENSATION: $150k-200k base salary + benefits (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
