Sales Engineer

Company Overview Protomiq makes software for car dealerships. We’ve been doing it since 2014, and count over 6,000 dealerships as customers. Protomiq brings dealers and customers together across North America with cutting-edge products. Key Duties And Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients within specific territories; develop and execute strategies to generate new business and increase opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking. Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and ROI of our website conversion and merchandising tools; tailor sales pitches to address the unique needs and pain points of each prospect. Sales Cycle Management: Manage and optimize the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing; maintain an organized pipeline and accurately forecast sales revenue. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with set teams in your territory on daily prospecting, presentations, pipeline, and monthly/quarterly game‑plans; regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to the sales leadership team. Requirements Qualifications Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the automotive space. Strong understanding of website conversion optimization, digital marketing, and the automotive landscape. Knowledge of sales and negotiating principles. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner. Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, competitive environment. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Other Things We’re Looking For Self‑starter.
