Work Environment\n

This position operates remotely, allowing for flexibility in both location and schedule. As part of our community health clinic, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, case managers, medical personnel, and school staff to provide comprehensive care. Regular clinical staff meetings and trainings foster a culture of open communication and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and diagnoses.

• Maintain a minimum of 27 client visits per week, actively managing your caseload and ensuring that all documentation—including assessments, treatment plans, and clinical notes—meets company standards.

• Employ innovative and tailored therapeutic interventions to help clients meet and exceed their treatment goals.

• Engage in collaborative care by coordinating services with families, case managers, educators, and other professionals involved in the client’s support system.

• Prepare and submit detailed documentation for each session, ensuring compliance with both organizational guidelines and regulatory standards.

• Take part in ongoing learning and development by attending all clinical staff meetings, training sessions, and contributing to a supportive team environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT role at Peak Performance Psychotherapy Services focuses on working with a diverse client population, encompassing children, adolescents, and families. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients from various backgrounds, including BIPOC, LGBTQ, and bilingual communities, promoting an inclusive and affirming therapeutic space.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Possession of an active LMFT clinical license in the state of Florida.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in completing clinical documentation, including assessments and treatment plans, in accordance with best practices.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems; experience with Valant is a plus.
\n
• Capacity to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.
\n
• Commitment to working with diverse populations and understanding their unique challenges.
\n
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with extensive experience in a clinical setting, specifically within community health environments. Familiarity with telehealth services is also advantageous, as this role may incorporate remote therapy sessions.
