Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, interpreting examination findings to accurately identify the nature and extent of dysfunction caused by orthopedic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on established goals, age, medical history, and specific dysfunctions.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities and other physical agents to facilitate healing and pain management effectively.
• Implement personalized exercise programs aimed at restoring function, improving strength, and enhancing mobility.
• Demonstrate clinical reasoning and professional competence in all phases of patient assessment and treatment.
• Continuously monitor and reassess patients' progress towards goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Deliver direct patient care with a focus on hands-on therapy and rehabilitative exercise.
• Coordinate treatment plans and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective discharge planning.
• Assist in patient education regarding their condition, treatment options, and home care strategies to enhance self-management.
• Ensure accurate documentation of services rendered in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies.
• Contribute to a clean and safe workplace by adhering to department maintenance policies and reporting any issues with patient care equipment promptly.

Qualifications

• A valid California Physical Therapist License is required upon hire.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) is mandatory upon hiring.
• Completion of an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous for maintaining efficient documentation.
• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient environment, particularly focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Specialized training or certifications in manual therapy or sports rehabilitation are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
