Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center offers an onsite work setting where teamwork and collaboration are paramount. You will have the flexibility to choose your own working hours, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to gather information about their physical conditions, medical histories, and specific symptoms to build an understanding of their unique needs.
• Assess and diagnose movement dysfunctions through a comprehensive evaluation process, utilizing tools and techniques that ensure accurate treatment planning.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize therapeutic exercise techniques tailored to each patient's requirements.
• Provide hands-on care, including performing massages or other therapeutic techniques to aid in the healing process.
• Support patients in the use of orthopedic and specialized equipment, guiding them through exercises with tools like walkers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, tracking their progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as the patients evolve.
• Educate patients and their families on in-home treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies to enhance their recovery outside of clinic visits.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Better Everyday Clinic, our Physical Therapists work with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors, addressing various rehabilitation needs stemming from injuries, surgeries, chronic conditions, or mobility impairments. Our therapists take a holistic approach, not only focusing on physical rehabilitation but also considering the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Strong computer skills, including word processing and record-keeping capabilities.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to patient care, displaying agility in response to various patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of physical therapy.
• Experience in administrative tasks related to patient care and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Mentorship experience is beneficial but not mandatory, as we provide mentorship opportunities for new graduates.

Compensation and Benefits
