Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including the review of medical histories, performing specific assessments, and formulating treatment recommendations based on individual patient needs.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, actively engaging them in goal-setting to enhance compliance and outcomes.
• Demonstrate expertise in implementing evidence-based treatment protocols that adapt to the patient's progress and any changes within the healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to modify treatment plans as needed and ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, interim progress updates, and discharge summaries to maintain continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Better Living Physical Therapy, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Your role will involve developing personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's goals, whether they are looking to return to sports, regain independence in daily activities, or manage pain effectively.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, as per the American Heart Association standards.
• Effective communication skills with a strong focus on patient engagement and education.

Preferred Experience
