Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs, history, and condition through a review of pertinent medical records and direct assessments.
• Develop and communicate customized treatment plans by discussing evaluation findings with patients and their families, incorporating their goals and preferences.
• Implement effective treatment protocols that are adaptable based on assessment results and individual progress, aligning with current best practices in physical therapy.
• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare teams when necessary to address any complexities in patient care and ensure holistic treatment.
• Document patient interactions meticulously, including progress notes, evaluation summaries, and discharge plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Manage your daily schedule effectively to meet productivity expectations, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to marketing initiatives.
• Engage in continuous professional education and serve as a clinical mentor to students, fostering growth within and outside the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center primarily serves a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related injuries. We emphasize holistic rehabilitation and work closely with patients experiencing chronic pain, post-operative recovery, and mobility challenges, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and effective therapy tailored to their specific circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• Current Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, though recent graduates with strong clinical rotations are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation facility is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
