Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations and assessments to understand patients' physical conditions, medical histories, and rehabilitation goals.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises and advanced modalities.
• Instruct and demonstrate effective therapeutic exercise techniques for patients to ensure they understand and can practice them safely.
• Utilize hands-on techniques, including massage and manual therapy, to promote effective healing and recovery.
• Assist patients with the proper use of mobility aids and therapeutic equipment, enhancing their independence and functionality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document progress toward rehabilitation goals regularly to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Educate patients and their families on at-home care options, exercises, and wellness strategies to support treatment continuity.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
