Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will play an essential role in evaluating and managing patients' physical conditions. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Consulting with patients to understand their physical symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle to create tailored rehabilitation programs.
• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Teaching patients the correct techniques for therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing mobility and strength.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques, including massage, to promote healing and improve physical function.
• Guiding patients in using mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring they feel confident and safe.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records to track progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educating patients and their families about in-home therapeutic options and self-management strategies to reinforce recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population ranges from children to seniors, each facing various physical challenges. We accommodate individuals recovering from surgery, suffering from chronic pain, or managing sports-related injuries. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and meet the following qualifications:

• A valid and active physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficient in basic word processing and computer skills to maintain patient records and documentation.
• A flexible and agile approach to adapting treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with a range of experiences, we highly value candidates with at least two years in the field, which enables them to hit the ground running in delivering high-quality care.
