Work Environment

This position is an onsite physical therapy role, allowing you to work directly with our patients in the comfort of their homes. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a well-structured work schedule that allows for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer comprehensive physical therapy assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using the CureMD EMR system to ensure up-to-date patient records and treatment efficacy.
• Engage actively in multidisciplinary team discussions with physicians, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to formulate coordinated care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, exercises to complete at home, and lifestyle modifications to enhance their recovery and prevent further injury.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be treating adult patients, specifically those between the ages of 40 and 65, many of whom may be experiencing chronic pain or recovering from orthopedic surgeries. This demographic often requires specialized attention to mobility, strength training, and functional improvements that can significantly enhance their daily lives and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Active or eligible Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and effective communication.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical records systems, particularly in the context of documenting clinical notes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Outpatient experience is advantageous but not necessarily required, as we value a willingness to learn and adapt.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, our benefits package includes:
