Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite, directly in patients' homes, ensuring convenience and personalized care within a familiar setting. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurse practitioners, allowing for a well-rounded and coordinated care approach. Our working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, leaving your weekends free for personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver effective physical therapy interventions, treating an average of three adult patients per hour with specialized attention and care.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient goals.
• Employ a combination of hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise protocols, and patient education strategies to promote recovery and wellness.
• Actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to ensure coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's health.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation through the CureMD Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulations and facilitating seamless communication among team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient demographic consists of adults aged 40 to 65, many of whom are managing chronic conditions or recovering from surgery. You will engage with each patient to understand their unique needs, tailoring treatment modalities to facilitate functional improvements in their daily lives. This role emphasizes building trusting relationships and encouraging patient involvement in their own care processes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active or eligible New Jersey Physical Therapy license.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient care and recovery.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities to foster trust and communication with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• While 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role is preferred, we value enthusiasm and commitment to patient care, and welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, especially those with experience in outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with the CureMD EMR system would be advantageous, but training can be provided.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, supplemented with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
