Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments and develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessment and client feedback.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care and promote continuity of services.

• Facilitate referrals to appropriate community resources, support groups, and additional mental health services to optimize patient well-being.

• Engage in regular communication with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, ensuring smooth transitions and ongoing support for patients leaving clinical services.

• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies, while practicing within the scope of established mental health standards.

• Offer crisis intervention and social work consultations, providing support to clients during critical moments and facilitating bereavement and crisis counseling as needed.

• Advocate for patients and families, ensuring their voices are heard in care decisions and that they receive necessary support and resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will work with a diverse range of clients, from children and adolescents to adults and seniors, each facing various challenges related to mental health. Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Compensation and Benefits\n

Vatica Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you may qualify for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
