Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Fort Myers, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred by their physicians, ensuring each plan aligns with best practices and patient goals.
• Deliver high-quality care covering various specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic methodologies and tools to enact changes in patients' conditions, all while following the prescribed plan of care.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, engaging with patients to build rapport and trust during each visit.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on treatment processes, expected outcomes, and home-care strategies, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their recovery.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through therapeutic interventions and performance metrics, while meeting utilization goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Clinical Physical Therapist, you will cater to a diverse array of patients, from children requiring assistance after sports injuries to older adults recuperating from orthopedic surgery. This role involves customizing treatment plans to accommodate varying degrees of mobility and specific rehabilitation goals, thus ensuring comprehensive care for all client demographics.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A current state license in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy being highly preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records and word processing software.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals.
• A genuine passion for connecting with individuals, enhancing community relationships, and promoting health and wellness.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
