Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is based onsite in our outpatient facility, which serves a diverse patient population in the Fort Myers area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with varying orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient goals, integrating evidence-based practices to ensure effective treatment.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, while continuously monitoring patient progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with state regulations and professional standards.
• Engage in proactive communication with physicians, healthcare providers, and stakeholders regarding patient care, treatment protocols, and discharge planning.
• Supervise and mentor support staff and assist in their professional development through training and leadership initiatives.
• Participate in community outreach programs and marketing initiatives to promote health awareness and services offered by the clinic.
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education workshops to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy accompanied by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
